Saturday November 19th:

  • Qualifier Event: San Francisco Butter Lap with Five Cyclocross Feats of Strength 8:30am – 2:30pm rides starting every ten minutes.
  • Both Men and Women will participate in the qualifier.
  • Even though all Women will automatically qualify for the Women’s SSCXWC main event you don’t want to miss out on the fun of the qualifier ride.  However, due to the field size limitations at Golden Gate Park, for the men racers, the qualifier is critical. Only 100 of the hardiest souls will qualify during the Saturday event.  (See important details about the event in your registration packet).  Another 50 will qualify at the Saturday night party by a special Sixth Feat of Strength.  All riders must attend the Saturday night party to find out if they quality!
  • Why only 150 in the main event?  Golden Gate Park is not limited by its radness but by its capacity to handle field size bigger than 150. The Feat of Strength qualifier separates the Men from the Boyz.
  • Those men who don’t qualify WILL RACE in the All Men SS E.A.W. category

7pm – 11pm SSCXWC 2011 Big Bad Party Time!  Head down to the Sports Basement in the Mission.  Chef Ciano from Madera will be serving a pre-race meal that you won’t believe, our own local rockers and the Godfather of Pixie-Cross Chris Schierholtz is setting up the course so we can race four-wide all night long.  Meet the world famous Lloyd from 21st Amendment Brewing live in person.
